Stichting Massaschade en Consument (e.g. The Mass Damage and Consumer Foundation) is taking Google to court over its Android operating system. Research shows that Dutch Android smartphones systematically transfer large amounts of information about device use to Google, even with the most privacy-friendly options enabled.
